|10||tablespoons||apple juice concentrate, frozen|
|1 1/2||cups||evaporated skim milk|
|1||tablespoon||almonds, slivered, toasted, optional, or more|
|1||teaspoon||vanilla extract, optional|
|Cook rice as usual, but replace 6 tablespoons of water with 6 tablespoons of the apple juice concentrate.|
Beat the remaining ingredients (execpt nuts together in pot.
Mix in rice and cook 8-10 minutes until thick, stirring almost constantly.
Spoon into dishes and chill. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
If you like it sweeter drizzle with some maple syrup or sprinkle with a teaspoon of brown sugar.
