|1||cn||condensed cream of mushroom soup, 10 3/4 oz or celery soup|
|1/2||cup||onions, thinly sliced|
|1||cup||cheddar cheese, old or sharp|
|1||teaspoon||butter, or margarine|
|Blend soup, milk, and pepper. In 1 1/2-qt. casserole, arrange alternate|
layers of potatoes, onion, sauce, and cheese. Dot top with butter;
sprinkle with paprika.
Cover; bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover; bake
15 minutes more or until done. Makes about 4 cups.
